baby it’s cold outside
It is absolutely freezing outside. No going outside today. Hopefully it will warm up enough tomorrow for that adventure that I have been craving.
a photo a day keeps the tears away
I took this back in July. It just feels kind of cold to me though. I thought it was suitable due to how cold it has become here all of a sudden.
I have decided to try and pick up my camera and take a photograph everyday. Hopefully I can post a photograph on here everyday too. However, I don’t think it will be from each individual day. I won’t be able to post any new photographs until I get my new Mac cord.

Also, I have been learning a lot about my camera. I have been reading The Digital Photography Book by Scott Kelby. It is well worth the ten bucks I bought it for on Amazon. It is a great book to learn the tricks that professionals use to get great shots.
I really want to start getting into some photojournalism practice. I need to get my license and a car just so I can drive around to different places and take pictures. Ugh, I hate driving.

I spent yesterday uploading 80 pictures that I have taken since I have been home from college. I took 80 pictures within a 4-day time period. I forgot how much I love just shooting photographs. I was messing around with my Zeikos filters. I realized that the polarizer isn’t good to use for portraits. It makes the person look a bit zombie-like. It does make great nature shots though. The above photo was taken with a polarizer. The cheap quality of the filters gives good reason as to why they can’t be used in every situation. However they are really fun considering the 3 of them together only cost me $10.
This one is from my backyard.
My cousin’s son is coming to spend the night tonight. I need to prepare for chaos.
